At the national forum on health and environment, the Vietnam Administration of Preventive Medicine (Ministry of Health) said water and environmental pollution was the cause of communicable diseases, which are currently caught by 50% of Vietnamese people. Water and environment are the center for any development process; poverty alleviation cannot be materialized if clean water cannot reach 40% of the Vietnam population who are lacking it.

Given such pressing demands, Water and Environment Joint Stock Company (WACO) has taken actions. As a big water supply EPC contractor, after over 20 years’ operation, WACO has become a leading contractor of water supply and drainage, water treatment and wastewater treatment works for industrial parks, residential areas, providing design consultancy and technical solutions to construction, improvement, and supply of equipment and technical training for water treatment plants, pumping stations, etc.
