The project of design and construction of Di An Water Treatment Plant with a capacity of 15,000 m3/day in Binh Duong Province was implemented by WACO in partnership with Interrec (Denmark) from 2001 to 2003. This project was invested by Binh Duong Water Supply and Sewerage Company with total funding of VND16 billion. Main construction items included a flow splitting tank, a mixing tank, a chemical house, a sedimentation basin, an acceleration tank of 24 m in diameter, a rapid filter, a treated water of 3,000 m3, a raw water pumping station of 30,000 m3/day, a treated water pumping station of 30,000 m3/day, 50 km of DN80-DN600 pipes, mechanical and electrical engineering, an administration house, guard room, fence, etc. WACO played the role of a subcontractor in the project.
