WACO signed a contract on engineering, procurement and construction of Dieu Tri Water Treatment Plant in Binh Dinh Province in partnership with EBARA on September 26, 2003. Total contract value was US$1,647,559.14. The project, invested by Urban Technical Infrastructure Development PPMU (MOC), was started in October 2003 and completed in June 2005. Main construction items included a treated water reservoir of 4,000 m3, a treated water pumping station of 25,000 m3/day, a water treatment plant of 25,000 m3/day, a backwash recovery tank, a cascade aeration, a rapid filtration tank, a chemical house, a control system, as well as mechanical and electrical engineering and technical training. WACO played a key role in the partnership with EBARA as contractors of the project.
