| On September 26, 2003, WACO partnered with EBARA to sign a contract on implementing the project of engineering, procurement and construction of Huu Dinh Water Treatment Plant in Ben Tre Province with total value of as much as US$1,379,076.31. Invested by Urban Technical Infrastructure Development PPMU (MOC), the project was to design and build Huu Dinh Water Treatment Plant and ancillary works. Main construction items included a treated water reservoir of 2,400 m3, a water treatment plant of 10,000 m3/day, a backwash recovery tank, a cascade aeration, a rapid filtration tank, a chemical house, a control system, as well as mechanical and electrical engineering and technical training. The project was started in October 2003 and completed in June 2005. WACO played a key role in the partnership with EBARA as contractors of the project. |
