| Water and Environment Joint Stock Company (WACO) on April 17, 2006 was awarded 3 tender packages on engineering, procurement and construction of water supply systems for the towns of Bong Son, Tam Quan (Tender Package No. BD1), Dap Da, Go Gang, Ngo May (Tender Package No. BD3), Tuy Phuoc and Binh Dinh (Tender Package No. BD4) under the Project of Water Supply for Nine Towns of Binh Dinh Province, with total contract value of VND65.4 billion. Implementation period for each town’s water supply system ranged from 66 to 74 weeks from the start date in 2006. Main construction items included clusters of drilled wells, water treatment stations (with an average capacity of 4,000 m3/day), treated water reservoirs, control systems, and distribution pipelines with a total length of around 150 km.
This is a turnkey project (engineering, procurement and construction) funded by the Development Credit Agreement between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the International Development Association on the loan No. 4028-VN at the World Bank (WB). |
