On March 8, 2003, WACO signed a contract on supplying equipment to Go Den Water Treatment Plant in Long An Province. WACO provided and installed water equipment and mechanical and electrical systems for such construction items as the pumping stations No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5; the chemical house, the treated water pumping station; the treatment system & reservoir; the technical tunnel and external electric network. Total contract value was VND3,028,590,594. The project was started in 2003 and completed in 2004. In 2004, the JBIC-funded Phase 1 Go Den Water Treatment Plant was put into operation.
